House
House starts tomorrow night yah!! Something other than Tiger baseball. Richard has to watch every game.
Called Dr. today to see about Chantix and they said I would have to come in and see the Dr. I'm ok with that but I can't get in until Oct. 8th. Oh well that gives me 2 weeks to get ready. I will do this!!
I am going to add a cousins web site to the genealogy list.

Sunday
I have decided I am going to call my Dr. tomorrow and see if she will give me a prescription for Chantix. I Have to quit smoking somehow and have tried everything else out there. Both Rhonda and Melissa know people using it. I just spent two hours online reading some message boards for support and really feel optimistic about it.I just feel so guilty about all the money I spend on cigs. Richard quit 16 years ago and with his breathing problems I know the second hand smoke isn't doing him any good. After all my atempts to quit I really have issues with failure. So here I go again.
later....

Still here
Not much going on here. The Dr. gave me a cortisone injection in my wrist the other day. It seems to be working for now. The next choice would be to break my arm and shorten the bone where it is rubbing on the bone in my hand. Doesn't sound fun to me so hope this shot works for a long time, like forever.

New Heelies
Sometimes these three act like they really like each other. Other times they are fighting like cats and dogs. These are my three youngest grandkids. Rhonda bought the twins new heelies for their birthday, Caeddin already had hers. Here they are showing them off. If you don't know what heelies are, they are tennis shoes with a wheel in the heel. The wheel can be pushed up so they are regular shoes. We will see who breaks their arm or leg first.

My favorite song.
I can only imagine by Mercy Me. We played this at mom's funeral. I love it.
Went shopping with the twins and they ended up with a hamster!! Oh well I'm grandma, Pudge (that's what they named the hamster) lives with them. I had promised we would go shopping today after school and buy their birthday presents. As soon as we picked them up they were determined they wanted a hamster.

Sunday
Not much new here. Saturday night we went to a get together at a friend's house and got to see some friends we hadn't seen in a while. It was nice to chat and catch up with all the new happenings. Some friends of ours have a christian band and they were there playing, so it was a good time.
Caeddin went fishing with her dad today and caught a 3 lb. catfish. She was so excited, it was the first time she had caught anything she didn't have to throw back. Her dad got a picture, but I haven't seen it yet.
The twins turn 9 on wednesday, it's hard to believe they are getting so old. Here is a pic of them their mother took the first day of school. Now tell me...do they look like twins?
Their mother cut Kiesha's head off...not me.

Nothing new
I'm still around. I am trying to get some back to school scrapbook pages done of the grandkids.
When they got to school wednesday Kiesha and Caeddin (cousins) had the same shoes, and had wore the same uniforms, they thought that was cool. They can wear navy blue, lt blue, tan and white, so they arn't the same everyday. Guess there isn't much else going on here this week. It's been raining most of the day, but no storms. We have had enough of them. Of course september means getting cold soon. I hate winter in Michigan. Maybe someday I will turn into a snowbird and go somewhere warm in the winter months. It is getting late so better go for now. Will try to get some pic's posted tomorrow. Later......

Too Cute
My niece sent this pic to me. I think it is tooo cute.
The roof is on, the kids started school. It was so quiet around here I could almost hear myself think! Although I try not to do that too much.
They are having some really neat scrapbooking givaways at godigitalscrapbooking.com and Scrappers Zone. com if you are into digi scrapbooking. I picked up a lot of freebies. Now I guess I better do some scrapping.

September already..
This is a pic I took of my newest Coke bottles. The one on the right is actually silver. It's the 25th diet coke anniversary bottle. It is not being sold, you can only get it from "my coke rewards" The bottle in the middle is one that is sold in Asia. The basket is from my sister Jeannie. She put it together for me for Christmas.
I can't believe it's the last holiday of Summer and I am sitting here with men tearing my roof off. It sounds to me like they are tearing the house down, but all the walls seem to be here so I guess all is ok. I would much rather be in some nice campground on Lake Michigan sitting around the campfire and looking at the stars. Oh well I guess I'll have to get the scrapbooks out and pretend. If i get in the camper and shut the door I can pretend I'm some where else.
Went school shopping yesterday with the twins and Melissa. They go to a charter school and have to wear uniforms, so that makes it a little easier. I think half of Lansing was school shopping! I swear we were in the checkout lane forever.
Now they can't start til wednesday because last week during the storms here a tree came down and did some damage to the school.
Have a good holiday tomorrow. I will if they finish my roof!!
