Another day...

Look what I found on Melissa's dropshots!! I don't what a Pepsi lover is doing taking pictures of Coke machines! Actually I do know, her friend is a Coke lover (smart man)He is in another pic standing in front of the machines, but I didn't steal that one
The roof is done next door and tomorrow they start ours. Hopefully we will go to Wyoming the middle of Sept. to see Rick and Kathy. Kiesha and Nicholas are spending the night...they start school tuesday. Gotta go...

Just checking in

Well I didn't get to the Dr. today, they rescheduled me for Sept. 18!! Oh well I'm not looking forward to it anyway.
I guess I should connect these pictures of grankids to their parents. Rhonda my oldest daughter, her daughters are Markie and Caeddin. Melissa's tribe is Natasha, Nathan, Nicholas and Nakiesha. Jillian is Nathan's daughter. Rick my son has no kids. His wife has 5 all grown and 15 grandkids. They all call him dad or papa. Cracks me up, after all he is my baby with more gkids than me. Oh well we love them and they are happy, living in Wyoming with the cowboys and buffalo. Hoped to get out there this summer but it doesn't look like that is going to happen. Later.....

Nelson genealogy, just some chatter

The weather is still good so the guys have got the roof half on. Supposed to rain tomorrow pm so hope they can finish in the morning.
I have been talking to a cousin on my mothers side of the family which is nice because I have the least info on her lines. Actually on her paternal side I have been against a brick wall forever it seems. There must be some secrets there because they sure covered their tracks.
I have to go see the surgeon tomorrow that did the surgery 2yrs ago on the ulner nerve in my left arm. I can hardley use it and he thinks there is some scar tissue that needs to be removed, fun, fun, fun. I know he will want to do another EMG which is terrible, the reason I have put off seeing him for the past 6 mos. He told me to come back when I can't stand it anymore,well I'm there.
Gotta go for now.
Would love to hear from anyone with the surname NELSON. Archie Nelson m. Adella Randall lived in Indiana, Montcalm Co,. MI then settled in Eaton Co,. Archie buried in Charlotte, MI Adella buried in Vestaburg, MI Adella married Frank Corder after Archie's death. Would love to find info on this family.

Another layout

The weather has been good the past few days, so the guys have been able to work on the roof. The old is off and waiting for the inspector to ok it to put the new stuff on. Nothing new going on here. Another layout of Jillian.

Bad Storms

We had some pretty bad storms this afternoon. Yesterday my sister Sharon's ceiling in her bedroom closet came down about 2 in the morning, talk about a rude awakening! The house belongs to dad so she called him. Now Richard and Gary get to put a new roof on for him, he is 83 so can't do it himself. Now if the rain will go away they can get started.
I have had a lot of problems with my balance and neuropathy the last few weeks. The other night I went with Nathan to take Jillian some diapers and formula and tripped going into the house and fell on my face. I was so embarrassed I cried all the way home. No I didn't get hurt but sure made an entrance!!
I got an email from someone in South Dakot this morning. She said she had some photo's of the Robinson graves in Vermillion. I haven't heard back from her yet, don't know why she didn't send the pictures when she contacted me. For those of you doing Robinson genealogy I will let you know when she gets back to me. I will post them to FAG also. Later.....

I can't believe it

I have been looking and playing with new templates for this blog. I went with the polar bears because they remind me of the coca-cola bears. My coke stuff didn't go well with the previous pink background.

I had a list of scrapbooking blogs and sites and lost them when I changed templates. I will get that put back up tomorrow. I guess you learn by trial and error.

Here are some scrapbook pages I did of the kids. Their mother is a Pepsi person(ugh). Nakiesha was only 9 months old when I did this page of her, she's 8 now almost 9.

I am trying to figure this template out . I really don't have a clue what I am doing.
I love digi scrapbooking and have some links to some neat blogs and sites. I don't create my own grapics, but maybe someday I will learn how. There are some very talented people that create some awesome graphics. Many of the links found here have freebies and daily downloads for wonderful kits and elements.

I also want to post some of my scrapbook pages for family and friends to view. I have six grandkids and one ggrandkid so They keep me busy doing new pages
